I got to choose the situation and characters, so I thought up a little story to go along with it. Here goes~

"Crash had been in a mood all day. One that demanded he didn’t sit still or keep quiet for more than thirty seconds. One that demanded he push his mommy’s buttons, and test his limits at every turn. One that demanded that even after he’d found himself facing the corner, backside hot and sore, he *still* couldn’t sit quietly, and let his mommy take her phone call in peace. It wasn’t that he wanted to be a pest. He just couldn’t help himself! Finally, Khayla ordered him off to stand in the corner in her bedroom. (His had far too many distracting toys. Corner time would just become play time.) But when she returned to fetch him a mere half-hour later, she was met with a colorful wall, and an equally colorful Crash, his hands, arms and legs dusted with make-up powder as he met her gaze with a guilty ‘innocent’ smile. 

As a smile graced her own lips, Khayla decided that she would play along with this little game of his. “Oh. Look what the little baby’s done~” She cooed, shaking her head. “I suppose you’re just curious about all these things, aren’t you?” She asked, ruffling up Crash’s hair. “Well, mommy will show you exactly what they’re used for, don’t you worry…” Before the night was over, Crash had certainly learned not to push his luck too far.” 

I truly adore this Artist! I’m so happy we can feature her artwork. The story is super-cute and gives me new ideas! Watch Mommies, Daddies, & Babysitters, I’m not limited just to crayons anymore!!
